ShanghaiTech wins 12 city-level honors for undergraduate teaching in 2023

In recent years, ShanghaiTech University has continued to deepen the reform in education and teaching, to pay significant attention to the improvement of undergraduate education quality, and has made new progress in curriculum building and textbook compilation. In 2023, four ShanghaiTech courses joined the list of “First-class undergraduate courses in universities in Shanghai”, five courses joined the list of “Key undergraduate courses in universities in Shanghai”, two projects joined the list of “Key projects on teaching innovation for undergraduate courses in universities in Shanghai”, and one course won the city-level design award in teaching. In addition to the city-level honors, there were also 12 courses awarded as university-level excellent courses, four were awarded as university-level courses for innovative teaching, and five textbooks joined the list of “University-level supported textbooks”.

 

In 2024, the university will continue to mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of the faculty to carry out innovative exploration and reform in teaching and education, further promoting the quality of undergraduate education of ShanghaiTech to a new level.
